Supertab Connect helps you control, protect, and monetize automated traffic to your site through Really Simply Licensing (RSL). Instead of blocking all bots or leaving your content freely accessible, you can define license terms and let authorized AI agents, scrapers, and autonomous systems pay for access.

How It Works

License Content

You create and publish a license that defines how bots can access your content.
  1. Define Your Content: Specify what parts of your site require licensing (e.g., /articles/*, /api/*)
  2. Create License Terms: Use our RSL Editor to set pricing, usage limits, and payment terms
  3. Publish License File: Make license.xml available on your domain
  4. Update robots.txt: Add a License directive so bots can discover your terms

  • Add the License directive to your robots.txt file

Key Concepts to Understand
