Overview
Before you can create RSL licenses and protect your content, you need to set up your Supertab Connect merchant account and add at least one website. Think of it this way:- Your Account: Your merchant profile and billing information
- Websites: Individual websites you operate that you want to protect and monetize (e.g. “My News Site”)
- Content: Specific sections within a Website that require licensing (e.g.,
/articles/*) - Licenses: The terms under which bots can access each Content
Setting Up Your Account
Register Your Merchant Account
Go to merchant-connect.supertab.co/signup and create your account.
Create Your First Website
Click Add new website in the top-right of Websites page.In the dialog, provide:Name (required)
A descriptive name for your siteCDN type Choose your CDN where your site is configured, this is needed to show you the available options for publishing your license and deploying bots verificationBase URL (required)
The root URL where your content is hosted.
Examples:
